Marcel's collaborators : Bob Crane (I)

As a child, Bob’s interests included astronomy, engineering, constructing things, and music (keyboards and stand-up bass, and later electric bass guitar, which he played professionally for years). He enjoyed nature, hiking, rafting, and camping with his brothers and his friends.

From 1963-1968, Bob attended UCLA, where he received a B.A. in Mathematics. On his own, he studied physics, and voraciously read everything he could find on the subject. Beyond what he read, his understanding of the nature of energies and their interactions on every level was extraordinary. He was very intuitive in his thinking, and his mind could visualize down to subatomic levels with great clarity. He fluently drew many diagrams which he supported with detailed descriptions and explanations that supported theories he developed.

1974 – Bob chose to live in the relatively mountainous and remote area of Hayfork, California, where he built himself a cabin. His brother, Steve, did the same. He enjoyed country life, and had a garden and even some farm animals. Bob got married to a woman (who had a child from a previous relationship), but the marriage was short-lived. Although Bob enjoyed the company of others, he was predominantly involved with his studies. Yet he also enjoyed listening to and playing music, and became a member of a local band, called Friends, which played in bars on weekends.

He was an avid reader, and was predominantly drawn to scientific information. Being unique himself, he sought out people who were often unusual and creative, ones who stimulated and inspired him. One of these people was Leroy Cook, a man he met in Hayfork, where they were neighbors. Leroy was immersed in the engineering of alien technologies, and was greatly interested in aliens themselves. This was when Bob’s interest was first piqued by “the how” of UFO phenomena, particularly the workings of anti-gravity devices.

Together, Bob and Leroy constructed a nearly four-foot diameter flying saucer that operated using a magnetic propulsion system. However, this device was short-lived, for when they turned it on, it disappeared! This experience further sparked Bob’s interest in physics, which never waned. He read everything available on the subject, and developing new theories of physics became his life’s passion.

From 1974-1978 Bob delved into the work of George Van Tassel, who had been an employee of both Hughes Aircraft and Lockheed Aircraft companies. Van Tassel was very interested in alien spacecraft, and in time travel.  Van Tassel wrote several books on all things alien, and also published a newsletter, which Bob read with great enthusiasm. George also gave lectures and did channeling on many subjects. He was said to have communicated with aliens who shared their technologies with him. Bob heard him speak, and also met with him a few times, and their stimulating discussions further peaked Bob’s interests.

George Adamski, founder of the George Adamski Foundation, claimed to have photographed spaceships originating from other planets, met with friendly aliens, and went on flights with them. He was the first, and most famous, of the contactees of the 1950s. Adamski authored three books that described his meetings with aliens, and his travels with them aboard their spaceships: Flying Saucers Have Landed (co-written with Desmond Leslie), Inside the Space Ships, and Flying Saucers Farewell. These books further amplified Bob’s interest in aliens and space travel.

Bob attended UFO conferences annually in Laughlin, NV, where he was exposed to the latest information on aliens and spacecraft, paying particular interest to their technology.

It was in 1980 when Bob first met Marcel Vogel. How he heard about Marcel is a story in itself. Bob was driving down a highway in southern California, and an actual spaceship landed not more than 100′ from his car. He could not get his car to move forward, so he just watched and waited. A tall, thin female being disembarked from the ship and approached his car. It was a tall, thin female. She spoke to Bob, telling him to go see Marcel Vogel. And so he did.

Marcel Vogel was one of the most prolific inventors in IBM’s history, holding over 140 patent disclosures in the fields of liquid crystals, fluorescent compounds, and computer hard drive coatings. Marcel eventually left IBM to create his own laboratory, P.R.I., located in San Jose, CA, where he could research new technologies, including the use of specially cut and programmed quartz crystals to alter the structure of water.

Bob repeatedly visited Marcel, and developed a solid relationship with him. In these visits, Marcel taught Bob an indispensable skill, the ability to access higher (other dimensional) information, which Bob utilized throughout the remainder of his life.

It was at Marcel’s lab that Bob met Jennét Grover, Marcel’s director of operations. A strong friendship and working relationship were forged, extending through jobs and enterprises from that date forward. The alliance formed between Bob and Jennét lasted for 33 years, until Bob passed away.

At Jennét’s suggestion, Bob was hired to work at P.R.I., Marcel Vogel’s laboratory, where he remained from 1986-1988, analyzing and interpreting Marcel’s research results, and having long talks together.

In 1988, Lynn (Buck) Charlson, of the Durance Corporation, a research organization, met Bob at Marcel’s Lab, and hired him as his scientific advisor. Buck Charlson held the patent for the development of hydraulic systems. Several years later, Buck created a non-profit, the Life Science Foundation, where Bob worked as a scientific consultant and also became a member of the Board of Directors. After Marcel Vogel died, Bob had Charlson hire Jennét, who served as editor-in-chief for the papers Bob wrote while he was working for Charlson over the course of 12 years. Jennét worked for Charlson for 3-1/2 years, but then Bob left, and Jennét soon followed suit. Several months later, Charlson convinced Bob to come back, but Bob changed the terms of his employment so that he only had to be in Minnesota for one week per month. Bob had Jennét reinstated, but this time she was able to work out of her home in Livermore, Colorado, 28 miles northwest of Ft. Collins, where Bob also settled. and where the two purchased a piece of property together and built houses for themselves. This working arrangement lasted almost six years, until Buck Charlson died in 2004.

While at LSF, Bob worked and conferred with Dr. Norm Shealy, neurosurgeon, inventor of the T.E.N.S. unit, and founder of the American Holistic Medical Association, Dr. William “Bill” Tiller, professor emeritus of Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, and founder of the William A. Tiller Institute for Psychoenergetic Science, and Muharrem Gökçen, M.D., a rheumatologist and Medical Fellow Specialist for the Department of Medicine, University of Minnesota, who developed a cure for cancer that was simple, non-toxic, and effective, but which pharmaceutical companies preferred to bury.

In 2017, LSF morphed into Charlson Meadows Retreat Center, and in 2018, Bob relinquished his position on its Board of Directors, as its direction digressed from science research.

Bob was published in Marcel Vogel’s P.R.I. newsletter several times, and also in the Journal of Atlantis. His speaking engagements included Nevada City (outside of Lake Tahoe), NV, and others. Bob was not a fan of public speaking, and preferred to talk to individuals or very small groups, where he could more specifically answer questions and share information one-on-one. People who engaged with him at this level found it almost impossible to separate from the fascinating conversation, and often stayed over at his home for days at a time. Bob was incredibly knowledgeable on almost any topic, but particularly on “new” science.

Robert William Crane, aka Bob Crane, aka Uncle Bob, passed away on February 9th, 2018.

Experiments

EXPERIMENT 1 - LIFE FORCE

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
3 leaves
3 pieces 8.5"x11" white paper
Camera

Rubber gloves (to be used if you feel it necessary to touch a leaf during the experiment after you have charged it)
In order for scientists and laypersons to improve their understanding of subtle energies, we have designed a series of experiments. The first experiment offers a practical means to demonstrate energy transfer from the human body to other living forms, referred to as "energetic healing." In speaking of healing, one postulates that something moves from the healer to the healee. To show this in unequivocal terms, try the following experiment.
Choose a plant that has leaves that are rather thick and high in moisture content.  The following are recommended for use:

1) Geranium
2) Saxifragia
3) Comfrey
4) Ivy philodendron.

PREPARATION:

Use your fingers to pick three leaves from the same plant that are of equal dimension and age. Take three sheets of clean white typing paper and label one sheet "treated" another "untreated" and one "control." Place the control leaf on the control sheet and put it where it won't be disturbed, ideally in an unused room.
To treat the leaf, place it on the palm of the left hand with the stem facing to the rear of the hand. Place the right hand parallel above the leaf and slowly oscillate the hand up and down, moving from four to seven inches above the leaf, while at the same time slowly filling the lungs. Hold the breath and focus on the leaf. With the outgoing breath project the thought to the leaf of remaining whole, free from disease and continuing to live.
Continue this for two minutes, breathing in slowly and with the outgoing breath repeating the above thoughts. At the end of the second minute release the breath suddenly with the thought "LIVE." Carefully place this leaf onto the paper marked "treated." Photograph the three leaves, recording the time and date.

Be sure the leaves are undisturbed. Look in on them each day and project the thought of "living" to the one leaf, and "not living" to the second. The third remains untreated. At the end of each week photograph the three leaves, but do not touch them. Continue observing and photographing the leaves for at least one month and see what takes place.

This form of experimentation opens up a host of ideal variations:

    - One can perform the experiment using a quartz crystal by transferring the thoughts via pulsed breath through the crystal to a leaf.
    - One can observe the influence of pyramidal objects placed over and in the proximity of a leaf.
    - One can test the transducing properties of different gems, on maintaining the vitality of the leaf.

    - One can test if drugs, vitamins, tissue salts, homeopathic or Bach Flower Remedies in proximity to the treated leaf have any effect.

Those with more sophisticated equipment may want to measure weight changes in the leaves and take photographs through a Wratten "A" filter using infrared film. If so, always use rubber gloves when handling the leaves after the initial preparation.
Another important bit of information is that in using infrared film through a Wratten "A" filter, one will observe that the treated leaf continues to reflect infrared radiation just the same as a living plant does, but the control leaf dies in a few days and no longer reflects infrared radiation. By the use of infrared photography, one can photograph the vital aspect of a living system, and when that life process is no longer actively functioning.

EXPERIMENT 2 - DOWSING RODS

MATERIALS REQUIRED
     - Pre-made dowsing rods or
     - Build your own using:
     - Wire coat hangers
     - Wire cutters
     - 2 stick pens (from which you remove the refills)

Dowsing rods detect the energetic forces that emanate from a human body or from inanimate objects. The rods are energized by the power of thought.
The most practical form of dowsing rod is a right angle wire.
Remove the hook portion of the hanger and cut the wire near one of the remaining angles. Bend the remaining wire so that it forms a right angle rather than an acute angle.
The handle portion and the longer sensor portion of the rod should be in a ratio of 3:1. The handle can be inserted into rigid tubing that allows the rods to rotate freely. Typgon, acrylic, or synthetic rubber tubes work well for handles. (One can also use the empty tube of a stick pen when the refill has been removed.)
Paint the tips of the sensing angle white.
Mentally clear the rods of any limiting or interfering influences. Do this by drawing the breath in with the thought of clearing the rods. Hold the breath for one or two seconds and release it in a pulsed burst.
Stand erect and hold the rods, one in each hand, at a comfortable level in front of the chest. The sensor portion of the rods should be parallel to the ground.
Watch the antics of the rods turning around. Mentally command the rods to be quiet and adjust them to a parallel position to each other. Be patient, let this happen, and then mentally command the rod in the right hand to turn to the right and stop. Then mentally direct the rod in the left hand to turn to the left and stop. Breathe in, and watch the rods come back to neutral (parallel). Let the breath out and watch the rods move outward. Repeat this often, observing that with each breath, movement of the rods takes place.
We have indicated that rod movements are controlled by intention (thought). The intention of one's mind, directed to the rods, will cause them to move as one breathes. To use these rods in detecting the energy fields of the body, one must first quiet the rods. Second, release the intention, mentally placing that intention at the tip of the dowsing rod. Draw in and hold your breath. Notice the movement of the rods.
Notice the movement of the rods as you to breathe normally.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EXPERIMENT 3 - DETECTING THE ENERGY FIELD AROUND THE BODY OF AN INDIVIDUAL

 MATERIALS REQUIRED:
   - Dowsing rods

Prepare to use the dowsing rods as described in experiment 2. It is important that you focus on the intention of measuring the auric field of a person. From 5-6 feet away, draw the breath in, focus on the target and then walk slowly toward the person, with rods at the horizontal position. It is important when using the rods to detect, that the breath be held in. The activity of breathing will interfere with the indications of the rods. At a distance of 1-3 feet, the rods should begin to deflect as you pass into that person's field. Moving forward again, from further back, you should be able to clearly delineate the energy fields that surround the person. Stand relaxed and alert to the deflective fields from the person you are measuring. As they breathe in and out, observe what takes place. The health, degree of balance, and general vitality of any living thing can be measured by this method.
A person's thoughts can be shown to deplete the energy of another individual. To do this, you focus your attention by staring intently at the individual while thinking something negative about them. That individual will be experiencing your thoughts on their physical body. Note the effect on your dowsing rods. When you are done, both you and the subject should pulse breath through their nostrils with the mouth closed to clear the energy fields created.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EXPERIMENT 4 - ENERGY IN WATER

 MATERIALS REQUIRED:
  - 3 Styrofoam cups
  - Dowsing rods
  - Water

One can detect moving bodies of water and above all, water charged with the intention of an individual. Get three Styrofoam cups. Half fill them with water. Dowse the three cups with your dowsing rods to show their neutrality. One cup is to be a control. You do not treat it.
Hold the second cup in your hands. Focus intently on the cup, directing the mind to place thoughts of love, joy, and happiness into the water. Draw in a breath, holding the cup away from the body, and release the thoughts into the water. (Release the breath by expelling quickly through the nostrils.)
Now with the third cup, think unpleasant and disagreeable thoughts, directing those thoughts into the water using a pulsed breath.
Dowse each of the three cups. Do the dowsing rods directed at the positive cups move outward? Do the rods move inwards when directed at the negative cup? Is the control cup still neutral? Taste the water in each. Are there any differences? Note any differences and consider what we do to food that is eaten while we are in conflict or when angry.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EXPERIMENT 5 - DETECTION OF THE CHARGE ON A LEAF POTENTIZED BY THOUGHT
MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  - Dowsing rods
  - 2 leaves from earlier experiment (#1)

In experiment 1, we kept a leaf alive as long as we were able. Experiment 5 uses both leaves from that earlier experiment.
Dowse the leaf that was filled with love and the thought that it continues to live. Check it against the leaf, which was rejected. Then dowse for the ebb and flow of vitality (energy) that is contained in both leaves. Test both leaves over time and note when energy no longer exists.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EXPERIMENT 6 - CHARGING WATER WITH THE POWER OF MIND

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
    - Container of water
    - Gauss meter or milligauss meter
    - Dowsing rods

Hold a container of water in your hands and focus on it with your mind. Draw in your breath and then suddenly release it with the intention of charging the water. Measure this water with a gauss meter or with dowsing rods. What happens?
Next, draw in your breath, and then release it in a pulsing breath with the intention of removing the charge. Now what happens when you dowse the water?
This experiment can be repeated many times using the same water. There is a direct correlation to magnetism in the field that the mind of an individual releases and stores in various solid or fluid bodies.
The teaching from this experiment is that the energy of mind is capable of being stored in the fluidic part of the body, primarily the blood stream, and that this information can be transmitted throughout the body. The act of the healer in the primary stage is to release these unwanted charges and bring the body back to an even balance. Then the energies can flow in a right and proper manner

The Forming Aspect of Sound

In the beginning was the Word. The Word took flesh and became man. We are made in the image and likeness of God and when we sound our note, we return to the Source, the God that is within us. This article will help to find this note and sound out this note.

Breath is the staff of life. In breathing and breathing deeply we create within our body a set of tonal patterns. These tones of vibrations are like the tones of an organ pipe. When the tone is emitted, vibrations resonate with the matter that surround them causing those objects or forms which are harmonic to vibrate/resonate in accordance with the primary note.

To hear these notes, suspend yourself in an isolation chamber separate from all secondary interferences, and listen, as you breathe, to a remarkable series of tonal patterns. Drawing your breath in, you hear deep sonorous pipe-like tones. Coming to the end of the breath, a higher tone range is heard and you experience a series of internal breath vibrations. The body responds by vibrating, as tension builds up with the building of the breath, a harmonic rippling takes place. As your breath is retained, this builds higher and higher until, with your eyes closed, a flash of light takes place within your mind and illumination results.

Illumination is the moving from sound to light. That light is a window to your soul. To feel and understand yourself, you must activate and stimulate the not-self, that wonderful being of consciousness of the soul interacting and becoming one with matter via the mediating vibration of breath. This phenomena only takes place when we learn to breathe deeply by drawing our breath in using the diaphragm, filling the chest cavity, expanding the upper regions of the lungs with additional breath, and then holding the breath. As we do this we feel our body oscillating in a rhythm. You experience the symphony of life itself moving, vibrating, and seeking. Your body becomes a symphony orchestra. With three-full intonational consciousness, we stimulate every cell in our body and the organization of cells in their own unique precise way.

In place of an isolation chamber, we can do this with a crystal. Charge the crystal with intention. Breathe in and out three times and on the third time hold your breath. Create the image of the crystal in your mind and pulse that image with the outgoing breath into the crystal that you hold in your hand. Breathe normally, look at the crystal with your mind's eye and clear intention. Feel the vibration your breath has caused, which is now stimulating the crystal.

As we contemplate the crystal with our mind's eye, we can create in our mind the image of individual organs. For example, visualize the heart and release it into the crystal. You will experience the change in vibration of the essence of your heart vibrating in the crystal. Send the thought of love well-being and you will experience a change in vibration. This will lead to an increased well-being of the heart.

If there is a pain in your shoulder, create an image of this shoulder and implant it into the crystal. Draw your breath in and slowly release he image of the shoulder, with breath, into the crystal. Look for the source of the pain and release the pain with kind, loving thoughts. The pain will cease to exist, having been neutralized by the power of love. Order and balance will come into being. The body will function in an orderly manner.

These are the fundamentals of self-healing:

    - sound your note by breathing deeply
    - release that note into a crystal held in your hand
    - use the vibration in the crystal as a reference electrode of sound
    - transfer a thoughtform from your mind into the crystal
    - release the thought of love and well-being into the chosen body area to bring it order and balance

All nature, mineral, plant, animal, and human, are linked into a common form and a common note. We come from one source and are here on this earth plane to return to this source.
A most remarkable book was written by Gyorgy Doczi: The Power of Limits, which deals with proportional harmonics in  nature and architecture. In this book, he links harmonic vibrations as the mathematics of celestial harmonics. He defines gravity as weight, and says the lifting of weight is by its sharing of His Grace.

The Divine connotation for this is the effortless release of burden. When you study the patterns of the forms of nature, as they individualize in various living expressions, there is commonality of expression. Darwin, on the expressions of nature, showed that there is a commonality between man and animal in the body form and expression of emotion. Dogs express their feelings of hostility or friendship through body movement. Looking at the photographs in Darwin's book, you are struck with the similarity of form and expression between man and beast. All of human expression can be released in seven patterns of vibration which are called the Sentic Cycles. These seven form the emotional expression and are seen through the bodymind movements. They are common to all human life forms on this earth plane.

The Finishing of Wine with Crystal Technology

We are working with Sycamore Creek Winery in Morgan Hill, California with the wines that are currently being produced there (1986). In our laboratory, we first determined the quality potential of the Gamay Blanc that was to be bottled. These qualities were transferred to a master crystal. A control run of 40 cases was bottled. The commercial structuring unit developed by Psychic Research, Inc. for the in-line structuring of wine was installed between the wine holding tank and the bottling unit. The wine was then pumped through our unit and bottled. When we measured and tasted the bottled wine it was exactly the same flavor and bouquet as the experimental trial runs done in the laboratory.

At least three pallets of wine were bottled at that time, and when we spot checked the bottles, they all had the same heightened bouquet and flavor that we set up as a standard. We have subsequently tested the structured wine over two weeks after initial bottling and the treated sample have retained the distinctive flavor and bouquet of the original pallet.

We found that we can transfer a program from a laboratory unit in a larger industrial unit and then treat the wine in-line with no loss of speed for the bottling operation. The structuring that we achieved in the winery was not dissipated by the filtering of the wine or the bottling apparatus. We have found that the structured wine is more resistant to rapid breakdown when exposed to trhe atmosphere and will hold its flavor for extended periods of time.

This work represent four years of research to develop a echnology and art that will upgrade wine without any addition of chemicals, light, or radiation of any obvious sort.

CRYSTALS AND WINE

Substantial field experimentation was done to test the application of this process in the treatment of wines.
At the Sycamore Creek Vineyards in California, a treatment unit with crystal was put in place between the wine holding tanks and the filtering unit. The crystal was charged with a program pertaining to the specific type of grape that was being used for the wine production. The overall intent was to bring the wine to its greatest potential in regard to taste, body, bouquet, and so on. The wine could be altered to whatever parameters were set by the programmer within the possibilities of the grapes being used. During the years of experimentation the “crystal treated” wine won several prizes and was lauded by both wine producers and critics alike.

In 1988 I conducted an experiment at the Psychic Research Lab in San Jose, CA in which I was able to successfully transform a new 1988 Sauvignon Blanc to be the same as an award winning 1986 Sauvignon Blanc.

    This was the basic procedure:

I took a sample of the 1986 wine and measured it on the Omega 5.

Once I had determined the energetics of the 1986 wine I transferred this information into an 8-sided double terminated Vogel-cut® crystal. The Omega 5 affects this transfer. I then took the crystal and placed it in our structuring unit. The next step was to take the 1988 Sauvignon Blanc and pour it through the unit so that it spun around the programmed crystal. The result was not only a 1988 wine that had the same taste, body, bouquet, and appearance of the award winning 1986, but also a 1988 wine that also measured out as being the same as the ‘86 according to the Omega.

My effort was only one of many times that this procedure was replicated with success.
How does this happen?

   According to Marcel:

1)   A Vogel-cut® crystal tuned to water is programmed with information so that a  wine will be brought to completion with all of the reactions that are potential in its chemistry.

2)   The wine is then spun around the crystal 1 - 5 times (1x - 5x.)

3)    The wine is the measured with the Omega 5 after each spin.

4)     A decision is made as to which wine is best.

5)     Information is transferred to a master crystal and the wine is run in production.

When the information becomes critical (at 4x), an abrupt change in the state of the wine takes place in much the manner as we have seen with the liquid crystals.

Marcel Vogel and Omega 5

I believe we are seeing in the wine a critical transfer of information which can then cause abrupt changes in the chemistry of the system.” (#6.1 Jan 1989)

“We have found that we can transfer a program from a laboratory unit to a larger industrial unit and then treat the wine in line with no loss of speed for the bottling operation.
